Does does Pack 554 set up?

Why does Pack 554 set up on the far side of the pond?
We’ve found the far side of the pond to be the best spot for our Scouts and families. There’s a picnic table, nearby trash cans, and the weigh station close at hand. It’s also much less crowded than the front side, giving everyone more space to fish comfortably.
For Scouts who need a break, there’s a grassy hill perfect for running around and burning energy. Plus, the water in that area is great for catching smaller fish. Perfect for Cub Scouts who are still waiting on their first big catch!
Tips
Worms, small Aberdeen hooks, split shot, and bobbers for panfish.
Chicken livers, floss or cheese cloth, circle hooks, and egg weights for catfish.
No fishing license needed for this event.
Arrive 30–45 minutes early for parking and check-in.
Cubs should wear Pack 554 t-shirts.
