🍿 Fundraising with Pack 554

Why Fundraise?

Pack 554 offers a Trail’s End popcorn fundraiser each fall to help families pay down their annual dues and support the Pack. We strongly encourage all families to participate—not only does it ease the cost of Scouting, it also helps your Scout build confidence, learn communication skills, and represent Scouting in the community.

Each Scout’s fundraising goal is $500. That might sound like a lot—but with storefront shifts, online sales, and family/friends, it’s absolutely achievable!

💰 Where Does the Money Go?

Your Scout’s popcorn sales help in two important ways:

  • 70% of every sale goes to Scouting!
    • A portion helps cover your Scout’s annual dues, reducing or even eliminating your out-of-pocket cost.
    • 30% of all fundraising goes directly to the Pack to cover things like:
      • Adventure Camp deposits
      • Program supplies
      • Rank and award items
      • Pack t-shirts
      • Scholarships for families in need

When everyone participates, we can keep Scouting fun, affordable, and accessible for all families.

🎯 Goals & Incentives

We set both individual and Pack-wide goals each year—and when we hit stretch goals, we celebrate big!

Past rewards have included:

  • Roller skate party
  • Overnight at Moody Gardens Aquarium
  • Special experiences at Space Center Houston and the Zoo

Scouts also earn prizes and raffle entries at Pack meetings. The more you sell, the more chances to win!

  2. Download the Trail’s End App
    • Track sales, sign up for storefront shifts, and collect payments on your phone.
  3. Watch your email for volunteer opportunities
    • Our Popcorn Kernel (fundraiser coordinator) is Michael Salopek.
    • He’ll send important updates about shifts, rewards, and Pack incentives.
