Pack 554 uses Scoutbook, the official BSA online platform, to:
- Track your Scout’s advancement
- Send Pack and Den communications
- Maintain the calendar of upcoming events
Once your Scout is entered into the system, you will receive an invitation email from the Scoutbook Coordinator to set up your account.
Your Role in Advancement
Parents and guardians are responsible for their Scout’s advancement. Den Leaders serve to:
- Provide leadership and guidance
- Facilitate hands-on activities
- Encourage progress toward rank requirements
- Record and approve completed achievements in Scoutbook
- Parents can submit completed requirements done at home / other activities which Den Leaders can then mark as approved
Den meetings and Pack events are designed to support advancement, but families are encouraged to work on requirements at home as well. Rank requirements and Adventure details can be found at:
